Land Claiming

SA Crafters makes use of land claims to protect your land and base from mobs and other players.

How to claim land

Obtain a golden shovel. You will be given one when you first join the server. Once you have a golden shovel follow these steps:

1. Hold the golden shovel.
2. Right-click the ground to set one corner of your claim.
3. Walk to another corner of the area you want to claim.
4. Right-click again to set the opposite corner.

This creates a claim over the area. This claim is protected from mobs and other players - including chests, doors, etc.

Managing your claim

You can trust other players in your claim. You can also give other players permission to trust others in your claim:

• Use /trust [player] to grant a specific player permission to build, interact, and manage your claim.
• Use /untrust [player] to remove permissions from a player.
• Use /permissiontrust [player] to allow a player to manage permissions for other players in your claim.
• Use /trustlist while standing in a claim to see who is trusted in it.

You can use a stick to check a claim. Right-click a block with a stick to see if it is claimed.

You can also subdivide your claim into smaller sections to give different permissions to different players.

To subdivide your claim, follow these steps:

1. Stand at the corner of your existing claim where you want to start subdividing and type /subdivideclaims start
2. Move to the opposite corner of the area you want to subdivide and type /subdivideclaims add

This will create a smaller, separate claim within your larger claim. Once you have subdivided your claim, you can manage each smaller claim separately.

If you want to remove a subdivision and merge it back into the main claim, type /subdivideclaims remove while standing in the subdivision.

Obtaining Claim Blocks

You can obtain additional claim blocks through various ways:

• Voting: Vote for SA Crafters using the /vote command.
• Gem Shop: Purchase claim blocks in-game in the /gemshop with gems.
• Ranking Up: Earn claim blocks when you /rankup through the vote ranks.
• Events: Win claim blocks from certain server events.

Tips

• Regularly check and expand your claims as needed to protect new builds as you expand.
• Communicate with neighbours to avoid building too close to their claims to avoid potential conflicts.
