Getting Started on SA Crafters

SA Crafters is a Survival Multiplayer Minecraft server based in South Africa. Before diving in, please familiarise yourself with our server rules to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

You have just joined, what do you do?

1. When you join our server you will spawn in the spawn area which is safe and free of mobs. You will automatically receive a starter kit. Your starter kit includes a golden shovel which you use to claim land. It also includes a few basic tools and food to help you get going. You can get back to spawn at any time by typing /spawn into chat and pressing enter.
2. To get out of the spawn area, type /rtp into chat and press enter, then click on overworld - you will be taken to the wild where you can begin your exciting adventure.
3. Set a home at your new base by typing /sethome into chat and pressing enter. To get back to that home at any time use /home. Don't forget to set a home or you may lose your base!
4. If you have slept in a bed you can also use /home bed to go back to that bed.
5. You can buy and sell items in the server shop - access the shop by typing /shop into chat and pressing enter. This is to help you start making money. You can then start selling items to other players from your own shops to make even more money.
6. Receive great rewards and help the server by voting, type /vote into chat and press enter to view the two vote links. Voting is free and awards both you and the server.
7. Once you have voted, you can right-click the crates to redeem your rewards. To see your crate keys send /keys into chat. To get to the crates send /warp crates into chat.
8. You will start with 200 claim blocks to claim land with. Use a golden shovel to click two opposite corners to claim land. You can also use a golden shovel to adjust the size of your claim by right-clicking on one of the corners. Don't forget to claim your land! You can earn claim blocks by voting, the gem shop, and from the crates. Players who donate are also awarded with additional claim blocks.

Useful Tip: Don't forget to vote every day. You will earn some exciting and useful rewards by voting. Voting also gives you gems which can be spent in the gem shop. Top monthly voters are awarded with rewards at the end of each month.
